Welcome to Job Interview Mate (JIM)! We have developed this platform that allows you to practice interviews at your own pace by simply entering the job description you're applying for. The system will generate questions for you. You can then answer those questions and receive real-time feedback powered by AI. Additionally, we collect real-time interview experiences to benefit those preparing for job opportunities. Our mission is to build a strong, supportive community where we grow and learn together to create a brighter future.

Our journey began with a simple idea, developed during our Trustworthy Data Scientist course, taught by Professor, Giulio Valentino Dalla Riva at the University of Canterbury. The goal was to design an ethical interview system. Our initial prototype focused solely on Data Science. However, we wanted to create a more general platform. We built this product as part of the University of Canterbury's Entre Challenge 2024 under the guidance of Paul Swettenham - Founder of Sunstone Talent. We truly hope our tool helps people secure their dream jobs!
